Kyle Brodziak vs Chris Stewart

Brodziak isn't a fighter but Stewart didn't go after him.Stewart is about 20 pounds bigger though. Brodzy was trying to spark the team and challenged Stewart. Stewart with the win. Brodziak looked better than i expected. most of the shots landed were to the helmet as evidence by Stewart leaving the rest of the game with a hand injury. Brodziak landed a few as well. Stewart with the win. Nice to see a new face drop'em for the Wild. Good on Brodziak.

Brodziak obviously won. He broke Stewart's hand with his face. Now the Avs are without their best player for 4-6 weeks. Kudos Brodziak for taking out a division rival's best player!

Despite the sad outcome of this fight (a broken hand for Stewart, how sad!), it really was one of the most fun to watch in our season so far. Bummer though about the hand...we all know helmets make painful punching bags. Someone should have told Chris.
