Clowe was just too strong,
as Brouwer didn't seem to realize
that the hugging tactic
was only making things worse for him.

Totally agree with DZA regarding the Shark's camera trajectory issues.
It's a shame that San Jose combines such (seemingly) great play by play
with nose-bleed, camera levels.

Ryane Clowe is this generation's John Ferguson--he's a potent scoring threat who can knock the snot out of an opponent.

What is Brouwer thinking

No contest...Brouwer just haning on to minimize the damage.
Even Clowe decided to ease off on the power towards the end.
More appropriate match-up would have been against Scott...
(was he even dressed ?)

yeah, clowe definitely with the win, although very fortunately for brouwer, most of those big rights were only glancing.

I always wondered how some viewers werent able to see a black puck on white ice. Maybe if San Jose didint have their camera set up on the moon this wouldnt be a problem.

Clowe with CLEAR WIN here as he controlled the bout mostly and landed more the punches as well.
Okay tilt in my book.

Lots of time spent on both sides trying to work a hand free. Clowe gets his right loose and give Brouwer a few knocks, then gives him a little love from the left, and finally hits with an uppercut. Brouwer does his best to respond, and gets in a little bit of his own. Real pillar-to-post fight...lots of ice covered. No major damage done on either side, but Clowe clearly landed more shots, so it's easy to give him the win.

Kind of a crap fight. I'll give Clowe the W for controlling what little action there was.
