Shelley banked everything on connecting with that first big punch,

but once that failed miserably...

he had no Plan B response to Kassian's youth and fire,

which ultimately exposed a tired Shelley,

and eventually forced him to...ahem ...''hug out''.

Shelley hasn't impressed me thus far as the Flyers enforcer. He did score the sixth and final goal in the blowout win, however.

Kassian needs to work on his right...doesn't have the 'knock-out' power yet. Perhaps it's body mechanics...throwing with arms only and not getting his body into it.

kassian the good 'ol blazer boy throws four hundred punches to take out shelley. shelley counters by ripping his lid off, hoping the cold air on kassian's noggin will slow him down. it fails. poor shelley, i am sadly having to drop down his "how good was shelley at the time of the fight" box more and more. i'll always love the guy, but i also will always love riley cote (chirp chirp), so take that how you will.
