Gillies absolutely destroys a disinterested Boll with both hands,

after the latter attempts a failed headlock strategy,

possibly to protect an injured hand.

Boll must have thought he was fighting three guys at once. He didn't know how to respond to Gillies. Did Gillies cut his hair with hedge clippers?

Congrats to the Isles for finally getting a point in the OTL.

Boll was obviously hurt, he always fights back even when he doesn't do so well, that was weird.

It doesn't hurt to fight back sometimes Boll. At least not as much as it hurt to just offer up your face as a punching bag like you did here.

First of all...it was right of Gillies to go after Boll for the late hit,
I was surprised that Boll wasn't fighting back and just wanted to keep Gillies in close which was evident of a ? hand injury.
Would like to see a re-match of this with a healthy Boll...the one better at fighting their own style should win it.
Gillies in close vs. Boll from reach advantage.
Win Gillies here.

i have never been so torn from a fight before. 1 - it wasn't much of a hit, it was a bump. 2 - it is their star player, you KNOW if you hit a star player, you are probably going to get run down. 3 - i have tavares in my pool. 4 - i hate fights starting from hits, but again, its their star. 5 - announcers really crack me up, "it really was a late hit." hardly! so torn though i am, boll is going to have a sore melon, he was absolutely pummeled by gillies.

Why did Tavares fall over? I'm 5'11" 195 and I would have been able to stand up to that shove from Boll. Just accept that fights will start if you even look at a star player the wrong way, it's the way it is now just accept it. I don't see that so much as standing up for Tavares as much as Gillies being pissed off that they now have lost 14 straight, I'd be fighting too.

good enforcing by Gillies. there really has been too many injuries on isles.
he did really give it to boll. this is a good way to send a message. 10 points and a parrot sticker for gillies for a job well done

Fair play Gillies! I like this fight, i like it a lot. Gillies got the jump on Boll but even once Boll found his feet Gillies just dominated.

Also good to see the rookie appreciate Gillies work.

Good stuff alround.

Boll took more shots to the face than Gianna Michaels in this one.

Win Gillies

Boll was jumped!!

And he didn't even try and fight back so probably wasn't in any condition too

Would love to see a rematch

Win Gillies this time
