What is wrong with a perfectly clean hip check ? I just don`t get these idiots like Mayers taking exception to it. Sarich is a non fighter and Mayers actually agitates that whole crap. DRAW

what ever happened to challenging a player face to face man to man, mayers is a no talent bum. the hit was far more impressive than the fight

A complete attack on Sarich from Mayers. Jamal should learn sportsmanship before a bout.

has there ever been a colored guy who could actually play hockey with some class???

A player getting punished for performing one of the most exciting plays in hockey – NOT acceptable!l What is wrong with this bloody league!!
Mayers who by the way isn't worthy of being in the NHL should be suspended.
Whatever happened to taking a player’s number and getting payback later in the game or even in the season, but all within the framework of the rules?
Hitting is obviously a major part of sports like football and rugby.
I am disgusted by the idea a hockey player should have to fight another player of the victim after dishing out demolishing hockey hits.

Fight wasn't for the hit imo. At the time Calgary was playing very well and the Sharks were flat. San Jose got momentum from the fight, killed the penalty and scored a few minutes after the PK and took back control. Good job by Mayers.

Sarich gets the win for a perfect textbook check and Jamal "I'm a hero" McMayers jumped Sarich like a punk.

Actually a draw as nobody landed anything, but I'm forced to give the win to Sarich because of Mayers' Kesleresque actions in jumping a guy after a perfectly clean and perfectly executed hit.

predglen, I couldn't imagine the circumstance in which the "pus*y" Sarich couldn't take you apart without breaking a sweat.
