I see Staubitz is back to finishing off with his elbows again like the Tootoo fight.

Too short to be anything more than a 5, and I'm calling it a draw. Staubitz was more active, but they seemed to have landed the same amount.

Once again, I do not understand those who reduce hockey fighting to merely the Olympic boxing point system. It is a hockey FIGHT, not a hockey boxing match! Throw downs, punches, elbows and who ends up on top ALL COUNT ! Win Staubitz.

This fight is a draw. Im a Wild fan and i call it a draw. Rypien landed the best shot but I thought Staubitz was more effective.
As far as elbows- there was one attempted at the :17 mark but missed and another at about :24 that also missed. I think throwing elbows is bush league and not apart of the code of the game, but lets not forget Rypien later took a cheap shot flush to the face punch at staubitz who had a linesman holding him back which is also bush league crap. And then went after a fan for clapping at him. I think the code was broken by both players and anyone calling out just one of them needs to realize their bias and quit being a homer.

Come on.. all Rypien did is punch Staubitz jersey.. OUCH. Once Staubitz got to unload it was done. However.. Staubitz is still throwing with the elbow, I don't know how you can watch this video or some previous fights and not see he does that. He's the only fighter, that dirty to follow through with an elbow pad.

Is it just me, or does Staubitz still feed forearm shivers in his fights?

Win Staubitz. Hockey code?! Pushing others eye (like Tucker did in his fight with J.Ruutu a few years ago) with finger, throwing elbows or a great jab before the final hit. This is fight, all counts and cuts.

staubitz is lucky if one of his punches landed. maybe 2 grazing shots, rypien landed 3 on the mush. win rypien.

Staubitz dominated the fight. The only punches that Rypien landed were short jabs. He should stick with fighting fans.
