but Rupp's gutsy performance
reminded me that I used to take him
semi-seriously as a fighter...
...once.

Whenever one player heads to the box and the other guy heads to the dressing room for something other than equipment repair, you assume the guy going to the box won the bout. Shelley went to the box and it looks like Rupp sprung a small leak on his white jersey.

those of you that voted for Rupp were either homers, drunk or blind. Shelley wins easily.

Jersey jab fights are not pretty to watch,but it was effective for Shelley in this case.
I know I'm not the one in there taking them but it obviously bothered Rupp ...which kind of indicates what kind of a chin he may actually have.
By the way, what's Shelley doing tangling with Rupp ?
Shouldn't he be looking for Godard ?

Shelley with the swarming bees tactic, just landing lots of jersey jabs for the most part. Got him the win, too.

Rupp landed best shots.
But this is a DRAW because Shelley took over later.
Shelley missed a lot and he landed those worthless jersey-jabs mostly.
