As a Devils fan I'm embarrassed, there is no place for this in hockey. Like someone else mentioned I had a lot of respect for PL3 previously but this is a classless move by him. I don't know what he was thinking.

5 Fights in this game... where was D.J. King? What are you being paid for D.J.?

Carlson is the winner because he choose not to fight LeBlond, who got 21 minutes for his stupid, senseless incompetent attack on a rookie. Were it not for the score and probably a warning fro the refs, the Caps could easily have run up the score due to the long power play. Devils fans: you got many skilled players, but LeBlond is not one of them.

PLLL asked 20 year old rookie Marcus Johansson to go and MoJo declined the invitation. PLLL chased him down the ice, slashed him a couple times, dropped the gloves and tried to jump him. Caps players got in and Devils players followed. Basically resulted in a big pile of players. PLLL will be suspended at least 1 game for this. (1 game automatic for instigator in last 5 minutes. I could maybe see the league adding on but I doubt they will). Either way, this was a bush league move on the part of PLLL, MacLean, and the Devils.

What a f*cking joke. Cant wait to see Leblond get whats coming to him from someone like King or Boogaard when they play the rangers.

Carlson came to the aid of a teammate being bullied at the end of a slugfest game... Leblond is a pus, and it took a 20 year rookie to teach him that

I had some respect for PLL for battling some big guys. However, this was a mess, a classless move in a game that reflects the score. The Caps do not have many guys who fight, but at least look for someone with some credentials. I am sure DJ King is looking forward to the next game. Between this and PLL hiding from Boogaard in the preseason, he has to be dropped from any heavyweight discussions.

Why did the CAPS scratch DJ King for the home opener?

Leblond made himself look stupid.

Classless, cheap play. No need for any instigation, especially then MoJo decilnes multiple times.

Leblond showing why he is should be in the AHL. That was a minor league move.
