Wanna know why the ref stepped in? Cause Gomez was yelling "stop stop stop, step in step in"!!

From the reviews sounds like most people missed the replay. Gomez landed more and better blows, Poti won the wrestling match and got some nuggies in. Win Gomez, and lol @ anyone who thought this was a momentum shift.

What?! No one should be giving Poti the fight. Gomez had the only two clean punches: two rights, one that smacked Poti on the jaw. Rabbit punches to the top of the head doesn't equal out to much.

How can you give it to Poti? There was to little to see to give either the decision but Gomez appeared to be the aggressor. It's fun to see these scorers take a few pokes at one another but it would be a lot better if the cameras could follow the action. Loss goes to the camera man.

This swung all the momentum in a playoff game. Scott Gomez is an absolute fool.

Gomez gets the edge with the sucker punch. Fern- neither of these teams has an enforcer......

da da da da da and the winner is,,,,, no one

what is with the refs lately you may as well give the sticks to them because they want to decide the game

on a side note the investigation report on burrows and auger came out and it shows bettman and ron maclean are sleeping together!

Gotta give it to Tom Poti on this fight, neither he nor Gomez had had a fight in several seasons and neither are really who you would look to for dropping gloves on either team. It was a decent fight to watch and Poti definitely landed some strong blows on Gomez once the sweater came up. You have to credit Gomez though, for trying to rough up Ovie a bit, though I don't know who in their right mind would fight Ovechkin. Final credit has to go to Poti for this one, as his name has been cursed much for his PK skills (or lack therein of) in the past season.

Poti won this one. Bonehead timing by Gomez, especially with the power play that came while he was in the box.
