I'm with B.T. Wilson on this one...
Arse throws his arse into Sheppard,
and it's arse-charging at best.

I'm also with Pond Hockey 18,
in that. if John Scott punched me in the neck,
I'd probably be feeling a little teary-eyed too.

I'm feeling masochistic this morning but too bad Scott didn't mop up the ice with Arsene more than he did.

If we take hits like that out of the game we might as well make it figure skating. yeah, he left his feet, but he wasn't anywhere near his head, 2 minute penalty at the worst. Why do they waste their time on Scott and Boogaard, all that toughness they had all year sure helped their record, didn't it.

Looked like Arsene was lining up a hip check but made contact with his upper body. It was the momentum of the hit that made it look like he left his feet..otherwise a clean hit.
Seems the evolution of hockey has made retribution manditory after a hard solid bodycheck (always brings on a great topic of conversation).
Frankly, I'm for it ! 1) because it brings on more fights to the game..which we all enjoy 2) it will help keep injuries down ( players more accountable).
So, to keep us entertained... good on Scott for doing his job.

not a fight, a 1 at best. draw. maybe its just me, but i didn't see anything that wrong with the hit, i know his skates were off the ice, but i mean he led with his ass, it seems like momentum kind of carried him. questionable but definitely not a hit where you deserve to get jumped by a large tree. its a travesty that this goon is making hundreds of thousands of dollars a year. just... not right.

not really a fight, more of a jumping.

We need some new categories, totally dominant retaliatory mugging sounds good to me.

scott should of held arsene up not let him drop from one punch, arsene left his feet by a foot, then left his feet again when big john tossed him like a bag of cement off a truck. PS.wilson twins how does his ass reach sheppards chest?

Quote from Jim Matheson from the Edmonton Journal: “I could have hit him with a baseball bat and I don't think he would have flinched,” said Arsene. “I tried to get him with a couple of quick lefts, figuring he wouldn't know I was a lefty, but I hit him with one and he just stood there. Nothing happened. Somebody on our bench asked me, 'Did he hit you on the nose when you went down?' I told him, 'if he hit me on the nose, the nose would have been on the ice.'"

why are people sick after this after clean hits? might be clean but id do the same. people shouldnt leave there feet. if this happened everynight more people would be hurt. I hate the wild and no fan of scott but glad to see this. this is a hockey fight website stop crying.

I don't get it how so many people voted Scott as a winner. I didn't see a single punch thrown. I call this a crap fight draw.

not really a fight, the hit is borderline, but not the worst iv'e seen even this week. i see bj king is this years hero of the anti-boogy crowd, belak, godard, etc. funny how if you pull out a draw, or even a win every six fights your suddenly the baddest man on ice. remember boogard is a free agent this year , lets see how worthless the general managers of your teams think he is

Aresen left his feet. Scott did his job. circle of life.

Argue either way on this one as to why Scott jumped in. Arsene left his feet to deliver the hit, Scott quick to defend his teammate. I think he should have picked a better spot to exact revenge. Scott wins in a crap fight.
