It looked as though it was going to be a killer, legit bodycheck,
(with a little charging thrown in for good measure)
until Halpern, awkwardly ducked and weaved.
Still, I doubt Glass could pulled up, or even adjusted
in the split second in which it happened.

Although... the quarter ice skate to throw it, in the fist place,
might be something that gets looked at.

I looked at the hit several times to give Glass the benefit of the doubt...but No, he shouldn't have done it.
All considered, felt Glass had enough time to ease off...a dangerous hit.
Good on Greene..expected nothing less.
Unfortunately, a draw.

good job glass, you fool. crackdown on bad hits, so take a twenty foot run at a guy and leap off your feet... i kind of laughed when i saw it in slow-mo, just how painfully blatant that was. dude's bent over, and you gotta jump into him. yikes, hello suspension. anyways, the fight... good guy greene doing the right thing, unfortunately didn't get the results i or probably he was hoping for. each landed a good one - draw.

Draw. would have been a monster hit had halpern not ducked

That was one of the stupidest hits I've seen in a while, suspension for the elbow to the head anyone? He's damn lucky that Halpern got up.

Whole team should've dogpiled that clown, instead he was allowed to get up. Draw.

he should have slowed down a little but done the hit.

halpern is ready to take a hit, then ducks last second and gets hit... stupid play, but not much of a fight... draw or possible edge to glass in the fight

this was barely a fight. more like a angry response and 2 guys falling down.

Glass was just finishing his check. Greene did the right thing, they fought, not much happened, they fell down.

Claire, you forgot to add Sarich, Jokinen and Phaneuf to your list. Don't worry, I know that it was just an accidental oversight on your part.

Never mind the non-fight. Tanner, can you say "suspension"??? A cheap hit like that is one way to get one...frickin' moron.

Matt Greene himself said the hit was just "a tough hockey play."
It was going to be shoulder-to-shoulder until Halpern extends himself downward at the last minute.

Glass probably should have eased up a bit, but I don't think this warrants a suspension! He got a penalty, and the Kings scored on the PP. It's done.

There's no way 15 (Glass) can anticipate that 22 (Halpern) is gonna reach like that and get his head at dash-level at the last minute...Glass just checked him. Halpern shoulda kept the puck in his skates and took the simple hit (instead of making a ****ty pass). Greene did what he thought was right. But NO WAY Glass should be disciplined.

Watch the tape folks, Halpern, (not a Defensemen), never sees Glass coming, he leans down to reach the puck, which has skidded up the boards. the hit is about 75+% from behind, plus the idiot runs at him from around the faceoff dot. New rules+total moron= 2 games minimum. Amazing he didn't get a boarding major.

Good job standing up by Greene, 1 punch each for a draw.

It was a great game if you're a Kings fan. Half of the flamer twins didn't play, and that POS Burrows took a slap shot in the throat, (not that I want to see anyone seriously hurt), but it couldn't have happened to a more deserving #@* wipe,(well, maybe Avery or Cooke).

maybe a hit from behind but the guy leaned down for the puck 2 feet before glass arrived. No suspension, edge glass with 1 connection
