I actually took the time to read the posted comments and have to laugh at all the idiotic remarks posted ....SO HERE IT IS UNBIASED........

1) Thornton won a close fight ........yes it was a lot closer than Bruin fans would have you believe.

2) As bad as Cooke deserved the beating ..... it also shows how Thornton has really no class for the hitting ,after Cooke had fallen. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR THAT..... REGARDLESS OF WHAT YOU IDIOT BRUIN FANS THINK............Better yet I'm sure Thornton knows this HIMSELF ..HE LOOKED CHEAP AND COWARDLY ....... That's why the misconduct. He should have waited for another shift and gone after him again to send the message......PERIOD

3) Bruins may have won the battle but they lost the war ..........they probably won't make the play-offs. But look at the bright side you can blame Matt Cooke for everything and you got to beat him up.......AND EVEN THAT WASN'T DONE RIGHT..................Bruins and their organization are pretty sad...........oh well............FORE

THIS IS AN UPDATE EDIT TO PMARZ1 ..........THE IDIOT

WHAT PART OF MY STATEMENT DON'T YOU AGREE WITH

a ) it wasn't a close fight ! Thorton won I said so .....but it WAS CLOSER THAN IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN

B) THORNTON LOOKED CLASSY HITTING HIM WHILE HE WAS DOWN?

C) OR I GUESS YOU THINK THAT BRUINS ARE CUP BOUND.

OBVIOUSLY I OWE YOU AN APOLOGY I DIDN'T REALIZE THAT YOU ARE MENTALLY CHALLENGED AND I GUESS I'M GUILTY OF NOT REALIZING THIS IN ADVANCE.................I PROMISE TO GO EASY ON YOU IN THE FUTURE...............IN THE MEANTIME I HOPE YOUR TREATMENTS GO WELL............IN CLOSING I WOULD LIKE TO SAY

OLE OLE OLE OLE ,,,,,,,,,,OLE OLE

HERE WE GO AGAIN ANOTHER EDIT LOL LOL LOL

Dear Hal 29,
Please see point# 2 This is where I say that Cooke DESERVED the beating. At no point do I mention or condone Cookes' actions as acceptable. ( CONDONE MEANS THAT I SUPPORT OR AGREE WITH) you illiterate. Man are you ever an idiot I'm surprised you can type.I can go on here but let's make it brief and simple for you and pmarz1 , BECAUSE I THINK YOU SHARE THE SAME BRAIN , AND WHILE YOU WERE POSTING HE HAD POSSESION OF IT ..........ANYWAY..........

1) YES THE FIGHT WAS CLOSE HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN DESTROYED BUT WASN'T . THORTON COULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB WITHOUT LOOKING CHEAP.
2) You don't hit people when they're down that's cowardly and that's why he got a misconduct penalty. MAYBE THAT IS FAIRPLAY IN BOSTON THOUGH.
3) I'M NOT EVEN GOING TO COMMENT ON YOUR MINDLESS RANT ABOUT SIMON, LARAQUE AND ALL THAT GARBAGE ABOT WHAT THEY USED TO DO 20,30,40 YEARS AGO.

No........ what I'm going to do is suggest you get some professional help soon and I'll say a prayer for you . Be well

P.s......................BRUINS WILL NOT MAKE THE PLAY-OFFS
