Too short of a scrap and I'm not sure why Backes just wrestled him to the game instead of fighting more.........edge Quincey

Backes actually gets the best shot right at the end as they go down. Too bad Backes doesn't have as much talent as he has class. I still think leaving your helmet on when your opponent removes his should be a match penalty for intent to injure.

WOW lots of pathetic Blues homers around, how can you people give it to Backes? He ate a hard Quincey right at the start and only is able to wrestle him to the ice due to his side headlock. This one belongs to Quincey because Backes couldn`t even connect one friggin punch.
Win for Quincey

backes gets some credit for taking off his helmet while quincey was trying to rag doll him a bit, he also landed a solid upper cut. Bout to backes

Luckily for Quincey it wasn't much of a fight. Classy move to Backes to take of the helmet, only shot Quincey got in was because of it.

How does anyone say Backes won?

Not much going on as far as a fight goes. More like the two going through the actions but not really any damage caused. Definitely like to see Backes take the helmet/visor off and then give er'. Quincey tried to throw a few but never trully conected. Backes SEEMED to land a uppercut at the end and may have landed a quick right at first, after romoving his helmet but hard to tell if it landed. Draw

Sad fight.

At first I gave it to Backes. Then "upon further review" I went w/the draw.
Quincey did land an okay shot at the beginning - Backes the outmuscled him. As someone else mentioned - I believe Quincey got away lucky on this one.

Backes with the slight edge.
Is Quincey Canadian?

If so Backes is 5-1 with his only loss being the game that Canada evened the series.

Backes get points for dumping the helmet

Crap fight, but win and big time props to Backes for ditching the lid and visor. Nice of Quincey as well to not try to sneak a punch in while Backes
was shedding, he was just trying to grab on.
