Boll (surprisingly) looked great, and despite Peckhams' good aggression, and steady balance...it was readily apparent that one of these guys was a pro.

As if the NHL doesn't have enough propblems with concussions from boarding and open ice hits, they might next want to consider what Peckham did to Boll in that fight. He clearly lost the fight but at the end threw Boll down on his rump causing Boll's head to hit the ice. That was pretty flagrant. I saw Rick Tocchet do that to Scott Stevens 25 years ago even though Tocchet was winning the fight. It bloodied the back of Stevens' head and knocked him out of the game.

Scary finish, Peckham showed class seeing if he was OK. Easy win Boll.

Don't know much about Pechman but he tried making a statement that he has the chin to take the jersey jabs...
Boll out experienced him in this one...though Peckman looks like a strong dude who has what it takes to be an above average fighter.
Nice to see Peckman say something to Boll after he hit his head.

Wouldve liked to see a round 2 without that helmet in the way.

Boll has come a long way since his first year in the league. Cheap move by Peckham at the end

Boll...Peckham didn't do a whole lot before the takedown.

gutless body slam by peckam,he seems to think thats what a hockey fight is,but its called bailing out,or offensive turtleling.

Im a Sharks fan but like Boll. He needs to stay in his weight class tho but he wins this fight easy, Not Close.

i HATE that tripping garbage. very dangerous. the only time hockey fights can be deadly is when guys pull that bull****. Boll is lucky. Peckham is a douche.

Good tilt with Boll getting in the better of the blows. I think Boll has mastered the jersey jab. He pulls the neck down really low and then starts firing while still holding the jersey and can really land some nice blows that way. Most guys just do quick little jersey jabs but Boll has a nice technique that he has developed that obviously works. Fun stuff.

Ever since attending the last Wild vs BlueJackets game in Minnesota, I've started to like Boll, even though he still loses the majority of his fights. He and I had some nice pre-game ribbing, and I told him that he and #24 would throw down right in front of me. It happened and he lost...anyway, he gets the win in this one nice use of the jersey jab. If they ain't gonna defend it...keep using it. It would have been nice to see the first camera angle of Boll's right cross, looked like it might have caught Theo flush on the chin before cutting to the other angle.
