Rypien with the W! Great fight! Stabitz and Rypien two quickest, best leftys in the league. I cant wait til those two go at it!!!

Win to Rypien for landing more shots. Nice left hand by Neil at the end, who looked like he was going to turn the tide as the fight went on. God I hate it when fighters salute the crowd after a tilt. Show some respect for your opponent by sitting down for five, not raising your arms like a punk.

EDIT - Oh, I just saw their first fight and saw that Neil did the same thing. So maybe Rypien thought it was a good idea to mimic a loser?!

rypien landed at least 4 solid punches to open the fight and was able to avoid most of neil's shots besides the one that caught him below the eye
rypien gets the win in a good tilt

Neil was looking for Rypien. More lefts landed by Ripper. One nice right by Neil. Slight edge to Rypien. First time I've seen Ripper do that at the end of the fight for the fans so obviously he was mocking Neil and his antics. :)

DRAW all the way and Rypien got saved by the refs at the end. He had his jersey pulled up over his head and was about to get filled in.

I like Rypien's speed and all ... but it looked like all the decent shots were landed by Neil. Seems like a draw to me.

Two of the best, if not the best, pound for pound fighters in the league. Great scrap. I've always liked Neil as he's a tough son of a bitch and his record against some very tough guys proves it. He usually has to fight much bigger guys and usually does quite well. Normally I hate that showboating **** after a fight, but Rypien did this in direct response to when Neil did it when the fought in Ottawa. Paybacks a bitch and karmas a muther****er, so I don't mind Neil getting some of his own medicine in this instance. I just hope that it doesn't become a habit wit RR. It's not like the fans needed it to get into the game as the place was popping unlike the morgue that is the Saddledome.
On a sadder note, why in the FUK do we have to listen to those two idiot announcers? Lee and Weeks are a couple of the worst announcers around. Terrible!

Rypien with the Wendel Clark-like start gets a few early punches in to a surprised Neil. But once Neil gets set he clearly shows his superiority and takes over and lands some heavy punches which have Rypien hugging and the linesmen coming in.

It's not showboating you retard, it's called getting the fans pumped up. They cheered didn't they? Obviously they liked it. It's you against 20,000 people in the arena **** face.

Call it a draw.....Ripper quicker, but how many lefts landed?? Thought Neil landed more and threw less...........
