This must have been Alberts' first game with the Canucks and in this fight he did not impress his new teammates. I watched the first period and they had a big scrum 30 seconds in but after that Vancouver just deflated. Even Luongo had a bad game.

My Canucks get thumped as usual!

Alberts is not the greatest fighter..looked like he didn't want to go in the first place
Seabrook all the way...talk about using the boards to your advantage.

win seabrook, it seems like alberts felt obligated to go after seabrook, he really didn't act like he wanted to go.

Have to give the nod to Seabrook on this scrap, Alberts looked foolish. I liked the pin to the boards and making the Nucks watch their guy get roughed up. Seabrook landed the clean hit, and handled the fight. Win Seabrook.

Seabrook pushes Alberts up against the boards and half way into the bench which prevents Alberts from getting anything going at all. Good job by Alberts sticking up for one of his new and skilled teamates though. Although Alberts is not a very good fighter, he's more than solid defensively as shown by his plus rating on one of the worst teams in hockey, he's pretty big and he likes to throw his weight around which is never a bad thing. I would still rather have him than Staios, who's old, brutal defensively, small, too slow to hit anyone and can't fight on top of it.

Did I really just read that a Calgary fan(you know who you are) was commenting on how the Canucks " as usual got their asses kicked fighting and actually playing"? That has to be, if not the funniest then one of the stupidest comments ever made on here, especially coming from a Calgary fan. I know that ignorance is bliss but moronic comments have to be called out. Last time I checked, the Nucks and Hawks series was tied at 2 this year and the Nucks won the last meeting 5-1. If memory serves, the Flamers lost a 5-0(yes they did score a months worth of goals in one game) lead earlier this year and then have been outscored 10-2 in the last two meetings with the Hawks. One of the most embarrassing blown leads in hockey history and what eventually started their demise into mediocrity. Love it! Yes, besides the last two games, the Flamers actually managed to score more than 1 goal in a game this year...and then they choked on it like a fat kid with a ham bone.

Claire, we get that you have a supreme hatred for the Canucks, we get it, but unfortunatley you just keep making yourself look more and more foolish with your asinine and inaccurate statements and your general lack of any type of hockey knowledge. I had hoped that the Olympic break would have given you some time to actually do some research of this great game, but I guess that's not the case and we will all have to keep putting up with your stupidity.

Seabrook just kept him off balance, Alberts never got his footing

SEABROOK: two punches to zero, not much of a fight really, but last checked 2 to 0 is a win for 2 regardless of how you feel about it.
