good fight for rivet, but win for thornton

Good to see these two dance! Rivet is a underated fighter, and is definitely not in the same class as Thorton, but did very well here...although Thorton overpowered him with pure strength at the end. Both landed and took a few. It looked like Rivet got a couple nice punches in while Thorton was busy trying to remove Rivet's helmet, which pissed Thorton off, then came the steady rights to Rivet's head. Great finish by Thorton. WIN THORTON

kudos to Rivet for going Thorton -- Thorton gets the nod, landed better.

I'm giving this one to Rivet simply for going against a heavyweight and popping him good at least twice there, and only "losing" because he lost his balance. If I wasn't an admitted Sabres homer, I'd call this one a draw. But no way was this a decisive Thornton win, that's just crazy talk.
