wow Orr was looking great last saturday and then tonight......doink,,,,,,i love the guy though in this era of safety first hugfests he really stands out as a guy that puts it on the line

when he wins big he's not a hot dog and when he loses he takes his lumps like a man

wow that might have been one of the nicest pure rights i have seen Shelley throw....just a sweet stroke that landed perfect

hockey fighting can be oh so hard to predict

take a bow leaf fans (i'm not one of them) so far we haven't seen one of those insane votes for draw or win Orr......that is a first on this site ususally there is always one homer who has to do it!!

Orr looked a little Janssen-jittery going in,
and more like Barch-bailing going out.

''And the lights went out, all over the world''.

This just goes to show you that anyone can win on any given night. Shelley has been getting his butt kicked lately and then drops Orr who is usually dropping people. I have said it before and I will say it again, Orr and McGratten are the two most entertaining fighters in the league. They lose occasionally but they fight the way the guys used to fight, stand there and throw them and the best one is left standing. Total knockout by Shelley.

This one took me by surprise as well. I've gone to thinking Shelley is an underdog in many of the heavyweight match ups, and given Colton Orr's recent performances I thought he would win. Shelley showed why he can still tangle with the big guys and why everyone has to be careful with him. He is so calm it is almost scary.

WOW! Orr got dropped. Guess now he'll go after Shelley every shift like he does with Carkner.

A nice KO win for Shelley over a tough customer in Orr. Maybe this is what Shelley needs to really get going. Best fight since the Godard win in November. Good redemption after the Belak loss and draw.

TKo a guy one night, get TKO'd the next. Win Shelley.

Is this a new trend or a new era of hockey fights we're seeing? Not long ago, you hardly saw a player get hurt in a hockey fight. Lately,we're seeing alot more knock-downs and knock-outs! The players are bigger and stronger and there are some big bombs being given and taken out there! Hope fighting in the NHL is not banned because something seriously wrong happend (you know what I mean).I'm not complaining..just an observation. I still love a good scrap!
Nothing mediocre with ORR..he either wins or looses Big !

Great, quick right by Shelley and Orr hits the ice. Big win for Jody. I'm so glad that I was wrong yesterday-Jody hasn't lost his fire. I sure hope we keep him next year.

And for those of you who made the snide, and moronic, comments re: lucky punch, each "dog has his day," such a "surprise," etc. get over it. Shelley's career has been long, successful, and he can be one scary & very tough dude. Give credit where credit is due and accept it when your guy gets blown away.

Has anyone else noticed Orr keeps getting drilled when he tries to shake his right elbow pad off? It seems every time he loses a fight, it's because he gets drilled while trying to shake off that elbow pad

Can the leaf fans explain how the hell anyone can vote for Orr on this?

Orr was Shelley's Whore in this fight,,

Colton Whore,... has a good ring to it....
