Eaves always takes on someone smaller than him, at least Versteeg was close to his size.

Probably the most free swinging fight I have seen in a long time.

Versteeg stung him good early, and after that, it was a draw.

Versteeg drew blood but missed more throws than Eaves. I'm gonna give Eaves the win here. He landed more hits and was quicker.

Eves got some good shots in there, but Steeger drew blood, had the take down and matched Eves' blows.

Many will you Versteeg won the fight, but that's simply not the case. Sure, he cut Eaves open, and got the takedown, but that wasn't enough. Eaves landed far more square punches, and overall, the better blow.

Just got back from the game. Great game!! Eves was slow to start but the uppercut at 16 sec wasfelt by the entire croud. I had a great angle of it . Versteeg flipped around and still had his head down. Eaves came in immediately with an attack!. I said man that looked bad...when the replay was on the jumbo-tron, the entire cround was like "OOOOH". The vid does no justice to the punch. At 20 sec's Eaves went for the straight arm to the jaw. Versteeg felt Eaves power at that point and flailed his arms wildly until they both felt. Wish it was Probert and Domi but hey you get it when you can. Insane game!
