David Backes vs Corey Perry

I have no idea how this is considered a win for Backes. He gets the take down, but does he even land one punch? At least Perry lands a few solid jabs. This is a draw.

backes you call them punches to the head? i give noogies harder to the head. ridiculous fight, looked more like a video for dancing with the stars. boogaard gives lessons in the summer at his fighting camps go take some lessons. as for perry you should be ashamed. dont drop the gloves if your going to embarrass yourself like that

Not a great fight at all. It takes two people willing to chuck em. Backes looked like he wanted to and Perry looked like he just wanted to keep arms length. Fights like this give me a craving for another Rypien fight.

Great to see these guys discard their visors before the fight. I think any player fighting with a visor should be suspended for 3 games.

Well first things first D.B gets the win, I am a perry fan so thats hard to say. However i liked that fact that boy guys shed the helmet and went after it. Overall this fight was nothing special, just skill guys having a jersey pull contest...
