I was a little skeptical that Ripper would be able to do it as I thought that Janssen might have been a little bit out of his class but Ripper proved once again what an ass kicker that he is. Two very tough guys but a fairly decisive decision to Rypien. Although I think that the linesmen jumped in a little too quickly and I know that Janssen's a good second half fighter. Not too sure how you could see it any other way other than a win to Rypien, unless your blind, biased or retarded or more than likely a combination of all 3. Even if you thought the punches thrown and landed were even, which they weren't, then the damage to Cam's face should tell you who's punches were more telling. And for anybody who can't see that, well then there's no hope for you anyways. I wish that they had of showed the Sportsnet feed as it showed just how bad the condition of Cam's nose really was.

Rypien's hand has been taped like that for some time now and was a TOTAL non issue in this fight. The tape was around his wrist, through the inside of his thumb and the palm of his hand. The last time that I checked you don't throw punches with any of those parts of your hand. Again, I wish that we had the Sportsnet feed. Cam wasn't cut from tape and from what I seen he wasn't cut at all. And for those of you who think that it was, you're complete fu$king morons. For those of you who are too stupid to realize it, Cam was pissing out blood from his NOSTRILS which are in the inside of his nose. Pretty hard for Rypien to cut the inside of Cam's nose with a punch or anything else. You also don't stick Q-tips up your nostrils to help with the bleeding if the outside of your nose is cut which it wasn't. Face it the only reason that you piss blood out of your nostrils like that or for any other reason is if you've been smashed in the beak which is exactly what happened. It doesn't take a PHD to figure that out, just some common sense and some fight knowledge but I guess we can't all have that can we.... Claire?

Claire, no fantasizing here. Just a realist. RR will lose a few as does everybody but he didn't this time. It's useless punks like you who will make sure their bias and hatred against him skewer the votes during his closer fights though. And he has yet to have his head handed to him, something that your girlfriend Brandon Prust can't say. I notice that you didn't say anything about the blood flow from Cam's nostrils though. So here's to hoping that you didn't eat too many of your retard sandwiches for lunch and were able to listen to some common sense.

Claire/Sling, at last count the Reich fight was rated around 40% as being a draw. Which is hardly having your head handed to you. And in the Murray fight, Rypien lost his balance and Murray pulled his jersey over his head and gave him a couple of shots that didn't even faze Rypien. I would like to see these 2 go again toe to toe.
Draw is a supportable opinion eh? Like I said, even if Rypien didn't have the punch count both thrown and landed in his favor(which he did anyways) then the condition of Janssen's broken nose should be the deciding factor. I's be willing to bet that even Cam would say that he lost that fight. Face it, you based your voting on your well known hatred for the Nucks and nothing else. I don't have any problems debating VALID points made by others based on facts, insight or knowledge but you have proven to be bereft of all 3. Don't blame me because of this. My proof is in your statements.
Punk can also mean inferior(maybe instead of spending all of your time spell checking you should try and expand your vocabulary), which is exactly what your knowledge of hockey and fighting has been proven to be.
You might be right though, you probably are old enough to be my father but unlike you, my old man still has his wits about him. This does explain a lot though. First of all, you must be in the late stages of dementia based on your views on the fights on this site. Add that to the distinct possibility that you probably suffer from cataracts due in part to your advanced age, which because of this, obviously clouds both you eyesight and your judgement.
Hey Claire, when the care lady tries to pry you off your computer chair so that she can change your diaper and get you to your next bingo game in time, you should probably listen to her.

Claire, I wasn't making excuses at all. I never said that he won those fights, I was simply correcting you AGAIN on the fact that you said that he had his head handed to him in those fights, as well as others, according to you, which considering your dubious track record, we all know means absolutely nothing. That was the argument but I guess that you forgot, probably for the reasons that I've stated previously. Dementia and cataracts are not for those people who disagree with me, that honor I reserved just for you, hence why I called you out specifically. I was simply just trying to explain and excuse you on why you contradict yourself, show bias, review fights with fighters who aren't even fighting(Stone=Stoll) and your overall general lack of knowledge. Dementia and cataracts are not name calling, they are health issues and I guess are supposed to give you a free pass as to why you think(?) the way that you do.
Also, "punks from the Worst Coast"? Sounds like name calling to me, which is just an example of what a hypocrite that you are as well, and is proof of your anti-Canuck bias and the one of the main reasons why you vote the way that you do, along with the reasons stated above of course.
Enjoy your bingo today and I hope that you win the full card game as it may win you an extra piece of cheese cake for dessert tonight. But if you don't it's ok, you don't have to run over the winner with your walker as you may be put to bed without having your soiled diaper changed for you.

These guys are at the top of their game this year and many on this site have wanted to see this bout, and we were not disappointed. I will admit that I am a huge Rypien fan but thought he would be in trouble when going up against some of the big boys (except Stortini), which Janssen seems to do with success, but even he is considerably bigger than Rypien..

Absolutely amazing that at one point Rypien throws and lands a right, blocks Cam with his left and then immediately throws a scoring left cross without even getting hit. He showcased his boxing skills and Janssen left the ice looking pretty confused and busted up which is a big change from his normal wave the linesman away and cocky skate to the box.

Great fight, I am sure they will go again, and Janssen will continue the good work, but a very impressive win by Rypien.

Great fight from both. Fight of the year candidate here. Slight edge to Rypien for fuking up Cam's nose. Greatest tilt ive seen this year.

Rypien with the win, probably all you canuck douchers that voted that, but I called it Janssen with the slight edge

This cements Rypien as one of the top P4P in the league.

Janssens nose is going to need some work.

What a bout Rypien pretty much beat down Janssen. Janssen landed a few but they were fairly uneffective Rypien FTW. No doubt. Janssen didn't com close to winning anything in that fight.
