Props for Boynton, just for showing up...
but the last ground punch seemed excessive for a guy who was already well ahead on the scorecards.

It must be an awesome sight for Derek Boogaard and John Scott to be skating around together during the pre-game warmup. Any opposing team that sees those two together must be wetting their pants.

I don't remember Boogaard hitting people when they are down much. Its the last thing he needs to do.

I don't see Boogaard as a dirty fighter, but this certainly appeared intentional. This should be a W for Boynton through disqualification. Do the announcers really think Parros would have made a difference?

Boogaard is too big, too strong for Boynton. Boynton took on way too much!

What a pathetic display by the big 1 dimensional goon boogaard, dude can't even play a regular shift, and is a waste of a roster spot!

give boyton his dues he went with him,but boogard hitting him while on the ice was pathetic.is that what they teach at the boogard fighting camp, even though his brother is the punching bag of the A.and fivefofightin is the only really tough guy on here, him and another 5%,piss off.

The additional misconduct seemed overblown... until you see that boogy destroys the linesman attempting to hold Boynton. A two-fer!

Boogaard all the way but I am a bit disappointed in that last punch while Boynton was down and the linesmen were in. My guess is that it was thrown because Boogaard was upset and decided to send a message. Boynton challanged him after a clean missed check and really, Boynton isn't in his fight class and really just tried to hold his arm so he wouldn't get killed.

Oh, this is the first time Boogaard ever hit a guy already down. Bull. He does it often enough that we can remember him doing it. And for you guys who bring up the seventies and eighties, look at the calendar. It ain't the seventies and eighties. Sweaters have to be tied down, just dropping your gloves seems to be an automatic five minutes, no one can pull a guy off you when you lose and you stop when the linesmen come in or a guy goes down. And he had time to stop punching after Boynton went down. It wasn't a heat of the moment thing. He's a dirtbag.

Boogeyman with the W and a Big L for him also for hitting the dude while he was on his back. That was way out of order.
