Stortini faired better than expected in this one,
and, had he tried throwing actual punches, instead of fore-arm shivers...
it might have ALMOST been considered a draw.
Edge Rypien.

This was a good fight, but I wondered about Rypien's hits to the back of Stortini's head. I scored this a draw. Stortini fought well in this one.

I am giving it to the Ripper on Scored points!!!!!

Stortini faired better in this showing then he did in the other two!!
Hey sharp eye or should I say Blind IDIOT........Stortini was throwin Forarms and elbows....Smart move to protect the head!!!!

The ripper is one of the best and smartest fighters out there, also he is completely undersized. Do you suggest that Ripper should "BLOCK "those shots with his Face????And not doing it is a BITCH move???Are you suggesting that Rypien does not "GO AT IT" with the heavies and win BIG????Think about what you write before you write it....Its better for people to think you are an IDIOT then to write things down>>>.......AND REMOVE ALL DOUBT!!!!!

Unanimous decision for Rypien, way more shots landed. Though Stortini kindda looked better on this one.. kindda :P

Rypien by decision. Stortini needs a fighter like Rypien to bring out the best in him. Here's hoping this series has many more installments.

Better showing by Stortini against his nemesis in Van City Jam...
Rypien usually rips Zack's head off...
Edge Stortini

This was definitely Stortini's best showing of the 3 scraps with Rypien. Still amazed at how quick Ryp is and that he can control and dictate the fight despite giving up many inches and over 50 pounds (then again Stortini is not that good).
Called it a draw, but I got the impression that Rypien could have kept going as he was throwing uppercuts, while for Stortini, the linesmen came in at the right time, b/c he looked done.

stortini hangs in there, but he is way to slow for rypien.

It was the right time for Stortini to fight, and his team got a brief lift out of it so good for him. Hate those elbows, WTF is that, but it's better than his old hugging routine. Rypien was the only one who landed any punches of note so he gets the win.

Edge/Win Stortini. After the helmet FINALLY comes off, the zebras step in. WTF?
Posted by sharpeye on Dec 27, 2009 at 11:03 AM agree disagree
Rypien keeps pulling his helmet down to protect his forehead and has that arm up "blocking". Bitch moves. Stand back and throw 'em. Say what you want about Stortini, but at least he goes at it.
