Gutless punk Heartless Hartnell couldn't stand up for himself so little Asham fights for him. Its a shame that pukebag losers like Heartless exist in a once proud league. As for the fight, gotta give the edge to Rupp, he controlled the fight and landed better shots. Not a domination though. He showed class by not wailing on Asham when Asham fell.

Edge Rupp

Rupp learned a lesson. NEVER let a Flyer up. Because Asham threw only ONE punch when Rupp was down, he is the classiest Flyer

Weak fight. Gave it a 3. Wanted to give it to Rupp at 1st, but after a few watches gotta call it even. Neither guy did enough to win. Possible rematch in a couple days.

The highlight of the fight was Rupp not hitting him when he went down.
Edge Penquin.

Give a lot of credit to Asham for taking on the bigger guy and also give credit to RUPP for not pounding Asham when he was down. Slight edge to Rupp.

Not a good fight. Never got going. I would have like to seen them go at it later as Asham is one of the better pound-for-pound guys in the league, I think. Very slight edge to Rupp. Nice of him to let Asham get back to his feet only to fall on his rear then.

I do nto think that Asham really wanted to go. It would be nice to see Hartnell fight his own battles for once.

Also for those of you blaming Rupp for challenging the smaller Asham....Orpik said that Hartnell chickened out when Rupp invited him to dance earlier.

Scott Hartnell. Is there are bigger larger-than-life loser in hockey? Commits dumb penalties at awful times, can't control his temper, isn't really the finisher he was in Nash, and now won't even fight to back up that uncontrollable temper. But he will flash his canines menacingly

The ugliest guy in the NHL losses another one

Definite draw, but not much of a dispute. Given their personal history, as well as the rivalry and team history, we'd expect more. Perhaps it was more for show than anything else.
