Another reason to throw out the instigator penalty. Thompson wins.

It's rediculous that 68% think Nate won. It was a draw more than anything. Staal stuck up for a teammate, like a hockey player should.

absolutely no punches landed. Staal with the takedown but not enough from either guy for a win.

Staal wanted to talk about it and Thompson was hesitant to punch him. Then he said **** it and pounded Staal.

When I see a Staal brother fighting it kinda reminds me of a retarded kid trying to solve a rubic's cube - you're cheering for them... but sadly it's just not gonna have a happy ending.

Staal is about a good of a fighter as he is a player..(that means not very good for you mullet having pens fans)

staal stuck up for his teammate skoula..and it was an ok bout..staal was the only one with connecting punches, even tho they mostly wrestled..neither one are fighters.

I am a die-hard Pens fan and I hate Jordan Staal. He is overrated and rarely does anything beneficial or with skill. He gets whooped and nullifies the PP. Nice job costing the team the game and giving the Isles momentum. A top six and a first rounder offered and I would trade him.

Staal needs to realize he has a left hand and to let go so he can throw punchs with it. If he is going to be be a defensive forward and defend then he needs to do it.

Thompson with the win. Staal just doesn't have the experience yet to be a good fighter. Staal got the takedown but takedowns don't determine a winner as too many people think. I have to laugh when a guy gets his butt kicked but is able to wrestle the other guy down and the fans thinks he wins.

Thompson got the boarding call because Skoula tripped over Guerin.
