At least Scrappy Lappy is still willing to do his job.

Winner Thompson. Laperriere 1-1 on the night. Thompson threw a lot more and therefore landed more, but it wasn't by much.

teebo, you must have not watched the first Laperriere fight.

Good showing by Thompson. He impressed me here, using his reach and strength to get the win over Lappy. Lappy has been doing this for a long time and at his size deserves a lot of respect.

Why cant the Bruins get players like Nate Thompson?? Oh,wait,we had him and gave him away,as we did with Steve McIntyre,Colton Orr etc, etc. We dont need tough guys here in Boston,we need more Euroweenies. We need more 5'9" Defensemen too, like Hunwick,Wideman and Ference. What a crew,Zdeno and the 7 Dwarfs. And you wonder why we havent won a cup since Gordie Howe was in Diapers??

Oh by the way, easy win for the Ex-Bruin.

Alot of non-connections. Thompson had the reach advantage and barely landed anything of subsatnce but neither did Lappy. I give the edge to Thompson but it was lots-o-punches and not many hitting the target.
