Zanon boarded Wilson near the Walleye bench, Wilson and he had words, then gloves got dropped. Meanwhile, Roy was kept busy clearing Toledo players (both on the ice and bench) from the area.

The fight itself was all offense, no defense -- grab a jersey, put your head down and pound. Zanon wound up forcing Wilson down, and skated to the box without direction from the ref -- he won, and he knew it.
