The ducks are as dirty as they come, their announcers know nothing about hockey and are HUGE homers, and the fans just regurgitate what the announcers say because they are as equally hockey un-knowledgeable and ignorant as the announcers.

wow, what a dirty player. Wish someone else that was a better fighter take on Wisniewski.

Another clueless Ducks fan can't see anything wrong with Wisniewski's dirty elbow. Wis won this one, but Doan got him back for the cheap shot later. By the way, TE, who won this game?

Wisniewski wins the fight obviously.

That's about as clear an elbow/shiver as you're going to see ever. As usual, the NHL is consistently inconsistent when they review these hits to the head.

Lastly, I hope " Vyrda-Laikenen" is European because what the hell is: "Not on to to lower head the ram silly" ? That must have come straight out of an online translator.

Yandle did the right thing defending Doan. Wisniewski won the bout, but didnt really land punches (except to the helmet). Of course, Yandle wasnt going to expose his face either. Looked like Wisniewski should have gotten an elbowing penalty for the hit on Doan as he led with his elbow. But...Doan...keep your head UP!

Wiz stood up Doan at the blueline like every D-man is taught since peewees...there is no doubt that his elbow was up, but Doans head was down. Doan sure skated to the bench well enough after stumbling around for the ref's to see. At least Wiz didn't leave his feet for the hit like everyone else is starting to.

Yandle did the right thing, but Wisniewski was too much for him to handle.
Win Wisniewski. I didn't see any instigation, they both dropped their gloves simultaneously.

yandle did what he had to do with the captain laid out good hit though

was a dirty dirty hit should have been giving 2 mins for the elbow. Yandle did right to jump in to protect the skipper but clearly lost the fight

I just wish there was someone else on the ice at the time to take care of Wisniewski. That little weasle deserved a whole lot more than that!

Yandle sticks up for Doaner and gets the smackdown from Wis. Doan got back at Wis later in the game.
