Scott Walker vs Brendan Witt

Glad to see somebody tag Witt. Walker just dropped 'em and started firing....that is the only way you'll get Witt to actually fight somebody. Usually he just targets the skill players and avoids guys that will toss 'em.

Witt used to handle guys that were a better than Walker. I am not knocking Walker. Witt may have lost his edge to age and injuries.

gave walker the win for the last couple at the end, up until then i thought it was a draw. called it a 7, not a bad fight at all. never cared much though for guys like walker who try and get that first dinger in before the other guy is ready.

Pretty decent scrap from both guys. I think Witt bit off more than he could chew. I counted this as a KO as Witt was knocked down at the end. The two started pretty evenly after a hit on Walker by Witt. Walker picked the right spot to drop them with Witt as the Canes needed a lift at that point.

Walker won, but he's still a bitch. At least he didn't throw a sucker-punch here.

Really entertaining fight. More than I expected. It was close til the end, but because of the end, I'll give the win to Walker

And for anyone that hates Witt... Please. 99% of his hits are clean. Hitting star players in open ice is part of the game you know. And it's not like after one of those hits he'll turtle to the ice and not fight anyone. Just ask the Penguins.

Walker never disappoints when he drops the gloves. Another dandy of a scrap, decisive win Walker. Good showing by Witt though.

Win Walker. I always thought that Walker was one of the tougher guys pound for pound around. When Mike Keenan traded that guy from Vancouver it just showed what an idiot that Keenan was.
