Date / Time Away / Home Team Away / Home Player
May 29, 2004 Tampa Bay Lightning Vincent Lecavalier
1pd 06:17 Calgary Flames Jarome Iginla
Comments: It starts deep in the Flames' zone. They're battling along the boards, both get their sticks up and they drop the gloves with Vinny being the aggressor. Lecavalier throws the first couple of punches, some glancing rights. Lecavalier slips and gets back up quickly. They grapple shortly and the linesmen come over. Before they can break it up Lecavalier throws a short right and Iginla answers with some good lefts. Vinny responds with a left of his own that Iginla ducks under. They each throw a couple of more overhand rights and then Iginla throws a bodyshot and Lecavalier slips to the ice and the linesmen come in as Iginla throws a couple of more.

Two star players going at it. I gotta give it to Vinny Lecavalier for holding his own against Iginla.

Wow. Ya gotta love two stars willing to toss 'em! Great work boys, you both just moved up my list of favourite players.

Lecavalier won that one maybe he didn't land on top but because he stood up for himself

i think I would give the lightings the momentem on this one, seeing that lecavalier is a scorer not a fighter, and Iginla can drop the gloves when he wants and he can get a good fight going. now after saying this im giving the props to lecavailer for droping the gloves

can't believe lecavalier fought....iginla's a tough guy but give the nod to vinnie on this one....I hate how people think whoever gets the takedown wins the fight, like the calgary crowd

Vinny Lecavalier is AMAZING. He can kill ANYONE in a fight, and he proved it here.

Anyone voting for Iginla winning is an idiot. A draw at best. Just more lame ass homer fans making votes that are totally biased and stupid.
