first off--2 euros??? the gloves didn't even come off till it was over, and Malkin forgot to drop his stick on the first punch in the back. What about #81 --third man in??? or just a grab an go.

Z-berg is not a fighter, but he didn't back down. It could be time for Aaron Downey. Wings are too good for Pens.

After Malkin stops swinging his stick at Big Z's head, the fight isn't even close. Zetterberg by a landslide over the turtle, Malkin.

It's too bad that Malkin resorted to the crap that the Stanley Finals hockey doesnt usually see. I thought the euro's hated fighting and certainly they don't play "dirty". What heck, leading with your stick, getting help from your teammate and then floppin on the ice like a punk. Hank, hat's off to your determination and toughness. You don't get no where near the credit you should as those primadona's at Pittsburg....
Go Wings!!!

LOL!! I couldn't tell who was more confused by Malkin wanting to go. Zetterberg or Satan. Not much of a tilt but I have to give it Malkin for intensity. Clearly not much of a fighter though.

Zetterberg wasnt trying to fight for most of the fight, once he realized that malkin wasnt gonna stop, he threw down and showed him whos boss.Malkin clearly dosnt know how to fight he lookied like a girl throwing punches, i just wish zetterberg started fighting back earlier. Malkin was just so frustrated that his team was loosing and should have been suspended. the NHL rulebook seems to be collecting a lot of dust latley.

Awful decision by the ref to cut off the fight.

Horrible but expected display of fighting from a cpl of European hockey players. Malkin out of PURE FRUSTRATION just looks like his crybaby partner in crime, Crosby. Setting the tone for game 3 my ass! Keep doubting Detroit and its hockey DYNASY media, please keep doubting them!! Way to go Hank for defending your goaltender and teammates from a crybaby Pittsburgh team!!

Nice dive by Osgood. The NHL needs to crack down again on diving. Osgood gets touched and dives like he was hit with a bat.

How can you say Malkin won? He started throwing punches before Zetterberg knew what was going on, than it was 2 guys on Zetterberg. Soon as Zetterberg tees off Malkin the linesman pulls it apart. Cheap fight.

A Great Fight Between Two Players You Wouldn't Really Think Of When You Think Of Fighting.

Stop whinning you anti detroit people and you anti pittsburgh people, they both lost their jerseys. It was a good fight.

***** attack by a frustrated player -- lead with the stick in hand -- if this match up were not a marketing boon for the NHL, that totally fit the description of the suspension requirement. Even Bylsma said the rules were clear.

Either way, idiots have been b*tching about Z having his gloves on -- it wasn't like someone skated up to him and said 'let's go' and they dropped their gloves, and took off their visors and squared off. Nope -- this looked like the nerd that had been pushed too far attacking another player swinging like a girl -- surprised he didn't cry at the end there.

Pierre says he is setting the tone? Is that different then sending a message. So sick of the league's inconsistency.

Malkin was more aggressive, but Hank was more in control. Zetterberg wins for having more pads on at the end of it, and for not hitting the ice.
