Rechlicz goes ambush on a guy he could have beaten straight up
in a classless ''Dude, I'm really starting to lose respect for you fast''
kind of win.

Wrecker with some serious bush league sh*t. The guy never even had a chance to even drop his stick. Islanders , class ??? Wrecker nearly shat himself when he dropped em with Laraque, so he figures he'll ambush the guy before he even sees it coming. No class at all, gutless puke stuff. Truly the laughing stock of hockey in all categories. The building is a cesspool as is the team. mcb789, where do you see class, I've seen more class in a 2 bit whore. You are pathetic on your best day.

Rechlicz? Class? I'm giving this bout a "4" and Rechlicz was 'ok' at best because he beat a guy who obviously didn't want to fight. Rechlicz, just like his team is in a class all by themselves. Win for the loser.

Learn the whole story before yapping. Conboy was cross checking Streit from behind all night and the Wrecker had enough and put that chump in his place. Conboy got exactly what he deserved.

are you all idiots?
look. if somebody comes off the bench and goes straight for a player, OBVIOUSLY there's a reason for it. conboy WAS cheap shotting streit unneccesaryily, and ya know what, having somebody spark the team with a fight isnt a bad thing, when your the draft lottery winner....
yeah he shudnt have rusehd him like he did, but none of you know hte context. i watched this game and it was understandable.

First off the Canes are in the worst division since that pansy division was created. Second, the Islanders actually have a future and are exciting to watch. Hey if my team had 61 points and was down 7 zip I'd expect someone to go out there and kick someones ass. All you haters are from the new school where Sid the Kid is the face of hockey and all of these figure skaters rule the ice. I'd take an entire team of Rechlicz's before I'd watch this Euro trash tip toe around . Bring the Patrick division back and some excitement with it. And to the idiots Moosetache and nikcanada, I'm sure your a Leafs fan and you remember 02. Your the hockey capital and the joke of the league. Oh by the way, great pick up with Blake. douches.

mcb789 - Are you crazy?!?! The Islanders showed class? What game where you watching?
Rechlicz skates up behind Conboy, who is along the boards chasing the puck, and drops the gloves and punches Conboy in the face without warning - this was a jumping, not a fight. Rechlicz then procedes to keep pounding on Conboy, who finally gets his gloves off some how and returns a punch or two. Shortly there after, the linesmen intervene. Rechilcz won this 'fight' if thats what you can even call it. Conboy was jumped, without warning, hence why Rechilcz was given the instigator and misconduct.

This proves the only way Rechicz is ever going to win a fight in this league is by being a classless player. He deserves to be in the ECHL, not the NHL. The Islanders showed no class tonight. In the third period, they were looking for cheap hits. In the second, they were attempting to sucker Gleason, Walker, Ruutu, and Conboy into fights after and before the play. Real classy.

Win - Rechilcz, just due to the fact Conboy couldnt fight back in this jumping.

Attacking a guy when he doesnt see you coming is not considered a fight. Conboy was not cross checking Streit "the whole game", as a matter of fact Streit was whacking away at Conboy in the corner at one point. Rechlicz was running his mouth on the bench down 7-0 and just felt like taking an early shower.

Islanders are the worst NHL team I have ever seen and there is no point for a Canes player to get hurt fighting with some idiot in a 7-0, 8-0, or 9-0 game with 2 games to play in the regular season.

Canes actually have the PLAYOFFS to think about. Maybe someday the Isles will too.

What a crap move by Wrecker to jump someone that doesn't want to go . Draw because of that. See you in the minors next year.
