I guess the boogey man isn't big enough for the Wild. Looked like a guest visit from Andre the Giant at a midget wrestling event and the midget threw him! McCormick tried, but Scott was way too big for him. WIn Scott.

Perfect example of the importance of fighting in hockey: McCormick cheap shots Clutterbuck... Giant smacks him around a little.... McCormick doesn't cheap shot Clutterbuck anymore. Should we send the GM's a powerpoint to explain this in very simple terms?

Scott kicked his ass, that crap takedown is the kind of stuff that gives hockey fights a bad name. Considering McCormick wasn't getting a punch in, it was his only move.....

Scott is too big, but credit to Cody for chalenge. Takedown was the best solution by Cody not to be beaten or KOd

Anyone who voted for McCormick as a win needs to lay off the crack! Yes he was out of Scotts weightclass but what you don't know (unless you watched the game) was scott called him out cause he blind sided Clutterbuck with a crosscheck to the head earlier in the game. And as far as Scott not landing many clean shots was cause All Cody wanted to was go down so he pretty much had to keep lifting him up. Atleast Cody answered the call and wasn't a little bitch like Laperierre was last year.

If McCormick wants to wrestle he should join the WWF. Scott with the W.

Screw the homer announcer.
Clear win for Scott

Not sure what the announcers were watching, but an easy win for Scott

Cody with the win. Height, reach and weight advantage all go to Scott. And reach is even bigger in hockey fighting because you can hold your opponents jersey away from you and fire away while you're opponent will never be able to connect. That being said, you can't realistically expect McCormick to go toe to toe. Getting in close is his only hope. And a take down is a legit move - difficult to pull off, effective in gaining position (he did go down on top) and limiting what the opponent can do. If anything Scott didn't win the fight by not maintaing control.
