They ought to let them keep going like in the old days.

Good show of sportsmanship by Thornton, but damn, 2 more seconds and they would have been right back at it if not for ref's coming in. I'm not saying they shouldn't have, but.......... was an even fight up until the stoppage and I'm sure would have gotten better. Scored it a draw and a tip of the cap to Thornton for not hittin a guy when he can't see. Maybe next time they can finish this one cuz it was gettin good

thornton showed alot of class, there are instances where circumstance dictates you just pound the guy,i.e;he took a run at one of your skilled players/goalie/cheap or dirty shot, but this was not one of them.they will meet again.i say this as a ranger fan, fair is fair

Edge Thornton. He landed more, and showed great class at the end, calling in the refs when Orr's sweater was over.

Thornton whooped ass and it would have been ugly if it wasn't stopped.

Bruiseyoureye and MCB. Where is BoyGeorgeLaraque at? Too good to be on the fourth line? Doesn't understand that unlike past tough guys - McSorley, Simon, McCarty who improved their skill set and were able to play valuable minutes every game. Boy George shows up out of shape and overweight, thinking he is the greatest. Being out of shape has caused his "injuries" this year. Worst signing Montreal made.

this was a short fight and a draw, All you NY fan who call Orr the best to bad he can play the game a little better like Thornton thats why Boston dumped him.

MCB789 keep dreaming about your great canadians like you they S**K.

Thorton tags Orr once early, and Orr pops Thorton late just before the jersey comes up. Seems kind of drawish.

Solid move by Thorton to lay off though.
