I would have expected a bit better from Carcillo against de Vries

I was hoping Carcillo's Flyers debut would have gone more smashingly. Good guy de Vries jumps in for a big hit on a teammate but not much of a fight resulted. Draw and 3.

Looks like these two forgot to put their contacts in.

DeVries held on and used his reach to keep Carcillo away. Draw.

As to Dan not fighting look once again at what he did to Kyle Barch last year. He may not be the best fighter in the league but he will bring it. Saw "Bad Ass" Tootoo back down.....and yes I knew he wouldn't last with Coyotes and said so. Gretzky sheds anyone that will fight, at the first chance he gets. Glad he got to Phillie, he will be missed in Phoenix.

Great hit, but not a good fight debut for Carcillo.

This one really never got going. I think de Vries wasn't 100% in to this fight. Carcillo had a clean, solid hit and there was no reason for the retaliation...I thought. But this seems to be a pattern lately.

OK, what's with Philly fighters, past and present? It seems they have a wrestling coach for a fight coach or something? Brashear in the past, Cote and now Carcillo? Man, give me McCarthy, Berube, Poeschek and the Ultimate Brownie back. Sorry, but Philly Fighters are going down hill. Maybe they are truly becoming the City of Brotherly Love.

to me a clean hit is in the open ice-----not your back to your opponent going into the boards and being pushed into them. the crappy announcers claim this to be a clean hit and he drills him??? he pushed him into the boards ----clean hit my ass

not much going on in this fight.i thought carcillo would have a better showing than he did.

I dont know why people are getting all crazy about that hit, carcillo was finishing a check and the guy kinda lost his balance. either way i think carcillo landed the only decent punch that fight.

Unlike the fans I was glad the refs ended it cause it was getting boring...but nice hit by Carcillo and nice step-in by de Vries

Draw. mcb798 kisses his sister again. Flyers can't fight as mcb798 proves it again.

Not a good showing for Carcillo, his first fight for the Flyers.

DeVries was just sticking up for a teammate, he didnt really want to fight. Not much going on.
