dion phaneuf is a great young player and i liked him a lot when i saw him play his rookie year but he has grown to be a goon he can hit like a train but he picks on the small players he is a dirty player and i believe a coward.

Definite DRAW. Props to Spezza for sticking up for a teamate. Shoulder to the head is considered "Clean" within the rules, but it is still DIRTY to hit someone in the head.

i am sick of these idiot homer announcers. "phaneuf looks for guys with there head down" what kinda of comment was that what is the first thing u learn in minor hockey . keep ur head up or end up like on ur ass. the hits phaneuf throw is no where the scott stevens wendel clarke style in late 80's and 90's. since the rule change these new generation players think they do not worry bout being held up so put there head down skate around well thats what happens. i would also like to point out " good for spezza for standing up heatley" these same announcers go on and on and on about how there are always these uncalled for fights after clean hits. i am a leafs fan who has misfortune of living in ottawa for a while now. the sens fans ( what a joke) only support a winning team but boy when they win every overpaid government worker digs in their trunk to find there sens window flag for their car , and memorizes a few players names and throw their two cents in at the water cooler and talk **** about leaf and habs fans ( true hockey fans)

heatley and spezza (escpecailly spezza) look as if they're auduitioning for a breck shampoo commerical (remember breck , all you lower 40s people????). my son could put both these guys in the locker room with one hand tied behind hiw back!!!!
