Not exactly Baumgartner-May.
The announcer was right about the reach issue, but Simmonds never properly exploited it.
Once Brown turned on the jets a little, Simmonds resorted to a tackle to get out of there quickly.

Brownie came back at the end. Simmonds has a long reach that works to his advantage.

Oh no, Oh no! All the people who dont know hockey are going to want to suspend both Simmonds and Brown because oh my god, they took their helmets off! That right, there is a crime against humanity right there! Hitler was a better person than Simmonds and Brown! Im sarcastic obviously! One fight in every fight over the past 100 years results in a death from head trauma, and oh yeah, that has never happened in the NHL! Oh yeah, the only death in the NHL was Bill Masterson resulting from an open ice hit so ya, lets ban hitting. Bryan Berrard's career was almost over from Marian Hossa's high stick so ya, lets ban sticks in hockey! People who dont know hockey, grow up and get a brain!!! Good fight, and in my opinion, two good guys showing respect and taking their helmets off, good fight, good respect, draw!

Give it a draw in an ok fight. Simmonds with the big size advantage but Brown with the aggressiveness.

Good even exchange. Any edge might have been Brown. Simmonds looks as if he could be a handfull if he decided to let it all go.

not just with these twoguys but what the hell is that **** ,short punches with the hold hand this the future of hockey fights i hope not

Watch the fight again carefully -- Brown THROWS a lot of punches but nothing lands. Only one really good shot hits it's mark and that was thrown by Simmonds. Win Simmonds!
