i like mair hes actually a decent fighter, so is gaustad..this should have been a really good fight but mayers pulled him down cuz he didnt want to take a beating

What a crappy fight.

I still can't believe that the Leafs traded Belak for a 5th round pick and then they traded a 3rd round pick for Mayers (who is even older than Belak) and a 5th round pick for Hollweg (who is completely useless). Oh yeah but Mayers can kill penalties and that's made a huge difference in the season. Fletcher is awesome. Hopefully Burke can fix this mess.

Can't tell if Mayers got in any good ones initially. Mair got in a few hits, but the fall end it before much could really happen. Slight edge to Mair, but not a domination by any stretch of the imagination. Weak fight that never really got going.
