Mara should never drop the gloves again. One, because he's a giant vagina, and two, he hurts his team when he does it.

Draw. too bad about Mara's hand/shoulder. "Kudos" to Asham for backing off when he knew Mara was injured. Old school.

How does Asham land on so many teams. I've always liked this guy, he is old school and could have played in era of the game including the bloodbath 50's. From the school of : Howe, Shore , Ferguson etc. If I was the Flyers GM I'd give him a lifetime contract. Montreal should have never let this guy go, he is what they lack, tougher than a night in jail.

Apparently it was Mara's shoulder as he said:
"The first two punches I was swinging and I could feel something in there and I stopped," Mara said. "Give Arron a lot of credit. The respectful player that he is, he stopped. It was a very good character thing on his part."

not much of a fight I favor asham due to size diff.

As a Rangers fan Mara would not have won that fight Asham is way better at fighting. I also love how Asham let up. Great sport. Also what about his tilt last night? He worked Jackman!

did anyone see what cote did or was this the refs trying to controll the game this game could have been a fight fest that nbc was trying to sell and these holier then thou refs control the game when they are supposed to be bystanders and to call the wrongs not dictate it

Would have liked o see the officials let it o a little more. Mara controlled most of the little time they had. But Asham had a couple good shots... Draw

Asham came on at the end but Mara put one or two more in overall. Good form by Asham to stop at the end like the announcer said.

asham with the win here. mara never got started, and it seemed like he didn't want any of asham.

Did anyone see why Cote received a misconduct?

Asham all the way. When you call in the ref. You cant win.

BS. You can see when Mara stopped fighting b/c of his shoulder. He was dominating until he couldn't move his shoulder.

I don't see how anyone can say Asham "won" because he "would have won" when the fight was stopped. Asham didn't do anything to cause the injury that I saw. Draw.

Mara is the aggressor until he injures his shoulder at which time AA gets in some licks. Kudos to Asham for laying up as soon as he realizes Mara is injured.
