I like how Moreau came back after a big hit with a bigger hit (the way it should be), but then Greene goes with the "fight the guy after a hard hit" gimmick.

brown run around all day he had 12 hits on the game. moreau needed to paste this guy in the first period...i think the oilers miss greene more then they know not for fisticuffs but just for tuffness on the defence. again this says to me why no 33 dressed

You could almost give Moreau the win because of the hit on Brown. But, not much of a fight. Draw.

Given Moreau the TKO for the huge CLEAN (yes you bunch of pansies) CLEAN hit on Brown

Only people who've never played hockey before argue about wether a hit was clean or not. Who cares? And if you're "sick" of seeing retaliation after a clean hit go watch another sport.
Not really a fight but could have been a good one had they stayed up.

moreau with a dirty hit.nice to see greene go after him.

Brown demoishes Smid. Moreau comes back with a bigger hit on Brown. Greene bodyslams Moreau. Draw.

The checks were more exciting than the fight.

This ain't gonna scare Brown one bit. Neither will the "what goes around comes around" BS.

Although Moreau obviously left his feet (a fact that is undisputable by watching the video), I think it was a good no-call by the refs. It wasn't a blatant intent to injure or anything like that. So let it go.

Good chippy game all around though.

Typical Oilers crap, they can't stand to watch there already useless team take big hits, so they start taking runs at people. Moreau is the worst captain in the league. Most captains can get more than 15 points in a season.

WOW backflip from brown from a clean hit by moreau. How come after every good hit, there are fans that say it was dirty? I guess they can't accept what just happened...

Great job by Greene to step in, but not much. Draw!

holy cats, I hate these. too much emotion, not enough concentration. slow down, and put a punch on a guy

First off, to all you whiners out there, Brown has made his living by running people and making late hits. Yeah he plays a hard nosed game but he's an idiot and is going to seriously hurt someone, so he got what was coming. 2nd Moreau's hit was clean, you guys are just all upset because seeing your man crush brown get effed up like he did made you have less of a boner for him.
The fight was definitely lackluster.

At least the big hits were entertaining.

Lame fight. Edge to greene for the outmuscle.

Wow, obviously a lot of Oiler fans in here. To criticize Greene for going after Moreau is ridiculous. Put yourself in his shoes... A guy throws a hit like that on your captain, what else are you going to do?! Brown's hit on Smid was shoulder to shoulder. Smid could see it coming... CLEAN!
Moreau's hit was not so cut and dry. He came off the bench and took a run at Brown. He left his feet on the hit and could easily have been called for charging. It was, without a doubt, one of the biggest hits all season and Brown was lucky he didn't get hurt.

As for the fight...well, that wasn't a fight. Let's just leave it at that.

Here's a great pic of the hit by Moreau...
