Cheap hit properly responded to by this Oyster-guy, and despite the visor, he proceeds to eat Reitz for breakfast.

Reitz is a better fighter than what he showed in his Broadway Blues debut.

Great job by Oystrick, standing up for his teammate on a questionable hit and completely getting the job done. Now thats a great hockey fight every way you want to look at it.

Good fight by Oystrick. Dominated that fight.

Oystrick instigates with the shield but where are the extra penalties?

Dumbfounded again.

Geez. The guy jumps Reitz after Reitz makes a great clean hit. The guy jumps him, wearing his visor. There was no squaring off. This Nathan guy is another of this new breed of psuedo-tough guy that jumps is, takes advantage of a guy, then cowers or goes down when the tables are about to turn. "Visor fighters" is what they shall be referred to from here on out. Oystrick gets my decision, but lets have Colton Orr decide how tough "visor fighter" really is.

Sure hope mcb aint a Thrashers fan, cause theres a lot of damn good Thrashers fans and Southern fans (which may seem odd to some of the Canadians and Northeasterners and Upper Midwesterners of the site) and mcb paints a false picture of a lot of the good hockey fans down here in the Southeastern US.

Pretty good fight, gotta give it to Oystrick, although I wouldve thought Reitz wouldve had a better showing. And good hit, but I personally thought it a wee-tad dirty as he rode him into the boards a little. Not much, and not a missed call, but Id say this fight was at least as justified Brash going after and dominating Bogosian (and Dave Steckel wasnt hurt from Bogey's hit either). And the Thrashers are struggling mightily (as per usual) but they play a good game more often when they dont let the other team walk all over em than when they roll over get muscled. All in all, Id say Oystie did the right thing there.

I like how Oystrick wasted no time getting Reitz' half shield out of the way.

oystie was a killer when he played junior in the bchl and he was pretty solid in the A...hes only wearing a visor because of a brutal eye injury...he will be the first to tell you he hates having to wear that windshield...pretty tough actually, im shocked he hasnt tilted more

Jumped him?? I didn't see that at all. The Oyster shoved him and there was no mystery as to what was going on. They both dropped 'em at the same time so... the homers need to eat it. If Reitz isn't ready to fight he shouldn't be playing like a ram-rod. That'll just get you into trouble. It's the NHL, bub... you abuse someone, you get called out. Simple.
Oyster destroyed him
