Shawn Thornton vs Alex Henry

Henry couldn't lock him out and use his reach. Thornton really connected when he switched hands. I gotta say...I like homers, but more like Remy and Orsillo. If they're funny and will crack on their guys too then it's OK...but the "goon' reference and the prison stripes remark are over the top. Obviously he's gotten the green-light to act like this because it's been an issue for a while.

Let's review the fight first- Win Thornton. he did a great job of keeping Henry at bay and connected with some good shots, a very smart fight by Thorny.

I had the English feed for the Habs and those guys did a very good job calling the game so this is the first I've heard of the imbecile Jack Edwards call.

Was looking forward to this post . First, win to Thorton, dont believe Henry landed a punch, possibly one, but that's it. Regarding the uniforms, there are some things in history that should remain history, these fit the bill. No disrespect to the Habs on this one but the uniform should have remained in the closet. Regarding Jack Edwards, I didnt think it was possible to get worse but indeed it did. For those imbeciles that think us "homers" are swayed by his play by play, you obviously dont read what we've been posting here. One can only hope he wont be back next year. He knows little about the game and to say his play by play is annoying would be an understatement. And yes, last but not least, ....mcb.....you scribble,"the habs will still beat the bruins in the playoffs if they meet.".....Here's the problem, the habs are looking like they may not make the playoffs! They should try and concentrate on playing the game instead of taking dives to draw penalties.

That Jack Edwards guy could NOT give an unbiased play-by-play of a chess match between two friggen monkeys. I agree, every team has a homer announcer, BUT, this guy is the worst... and I have listened to a bazillion games in my lifetime! And did anyone catch "the shooter in the grassy knoll" that shot Latendresse (was that Latendresse that wormed in the corner?).

What the hell is Jack Edwards even talking about? The guy is a certifiable nutjob. The only thing worse than him in this fight was the hideous jersey that Henry was wearing.

Jack Edwards sucks ! EASY win for Thornton who always answers the bell and always holds his own against everyone. Complete beatdown and saves Henry from a big dent in his face at the end, classy !

I swear, those God damn boston announcers are the worst! Everytime there is a boston fight at home I have to turn the sound off. Try it sometime, and you will see a different fight then what they are calling! DRAW all the way.
