Canuck fans likely remember what happened to Keslar last year. These 2 teams hate each other yet rarely play one another. I think there was a little more to the hit on Gags from Bieska than just finshing a check. Richards was aware of this and promptly stepped in to the bigger stronger Bieska and promptly got outslugged for the second time in 2 games. This should have lit a fire under the Canucks. It didn't . Battle goes to Bieska. Victory goes to Flyers. Hopefully the bad blood will continue with these 2 teams. Unfortunately, it appears the Canucks will not have a "crack" at Jesse Boulerice (the guy who beheaded Keslar last year) because he lumbers around the Oilers farm affiliate this year.

Doing something stupid like getting yourself injured during a fight and taking out 2 of your team's best scorers isn't what Richards needs to be doing. Let Cote do his job! Richards got worked and was lucky he wasn't hurt.

After watching the youtube clip, just another example of Bieksa picking his spots. Likes to play the part of the tough middleweight but NEVER fights guys his own "class."

bieska gave richards a ass reaming........richards is nothing less than a little punk that cant fight.......a little advice for richards...stick to scoring.....you suck.....but i must admit i love seeing richards get his ass kicked.....that always puts a smile on my face

richards is a complete player. he is from the old school of hockey. he fights and scores.lets face it he does not have to fight but he still drops his gloves more than most players in the NHL these days.
