I've never seen anyone so intent to get the takedown. Especially after instigating the fight. Too bad because Brookbank would've killed him.

IMO, for the first 9/10 of the fight they were trying to get into a position to throw punches. They got in too close to start. Then at the end Coburn dumped him. I don't see it as one guy not wanting to fight.

Brookbank was the only one to land any punches, even if they were weak shots. What surprised me was that despite being much smaller than Coburn, Brookbank managed to stop him from taking him down for pretty much the whole fight.
