This was Coburn trying to rally the troops and get the Flyers back into the game, down 2-0. He took a couple of short right hand jabs but I doubt they had much effect. I don't remember seeing Coburn fight before--now I can see why.
IMO, for the first 9/10 of the fight they were trying to get into a position to throw punches. They got in too close to start. Then at the end Coburn dumped him. I don't see it as one guy not wanting to fight.
Brookbank was the only one to land any punches, even if they were weak shots. What surprised me was that despite being much smaller than Coburn, Brookbank managed to stop him from taking him down for pretty much the whole fight.
