Daniel Girardi vs Travis Zajac

You wouldn't see Girardi pull that with Clarkson or Rupp--they'd hand him his head with his helmet still on. Zajac--not exactly a bruiser.

I'm glad Zajac had his ass hnded to him after taking a really nice clean hit for skating with his head down like that then standing up and challenging Girardi. And how bloody awful are the commentators? I can't get over how bad msg and fsn are, where do they find those guys? follow the play, learn or just go back to baseball

When will these candy-asses learn that a good clean hit does not costitute a need for a fight. I guess justice prevailed here, as not only did Girardi rock him with a good solid check, he then punched his lights out to boot. Girardi the clear winner here. Hey Mrs. Zajac, quit being a homer and vote for the real winner. Did Zajac get a punch unleashed? NO!

Not much of a fight, I guess Girardi won. On a side note, I will give Zajac credit: how often do you see a skill player nowadays stand up for HIMSELF after getting rocked? It's not often, that's for sure.
