| Comments: While the Worrell - Wright scuffle is going on some players have convened along the boards at center ice. Hicks and Kovalev begin to have words. Ian Moran comes in to protect Alex and Paul Laus shoves at Moran. All of a sudden, the gloves come off and Hicks gets a great head start on Kovalev and throws about 6 rights with 3 of them landing flush. Kovalev then decides to dump Hicks to the ice. During all of this Laus and Moran have broken out. Hicks and Kovalev get up and Hicks throws a right that may have landed. Kovalev attempts a right and Hicks throws another. Kovalev is cut on the bridge of his nose probably from some of the shots that were landed earlier. This fight then becomes uneventful. Other Penalties: Peter Worrell and Tyler Wright received double roughings; Ed Jovanovski a roughing and game misconduct; Brad Werenka a roughing and misconduct; Hicks an instigator and misconduct. | ||
