They come together in front of the Flyers net and drop the mitts.

The whole fight was done in close. Fritz had the edge at the beginning, as he was throwing all right hands before Cote could get the left hand going.

Solid draw.

Great start to the bout, but they felt too much love near the end.

Good stuff. That early exchange was really good and likely what cut both guys.

I can't pick a winner in this fight even though it appeared that Fritz landed the harder shots. Cote is no chump though, what a chin on that kid.

great job by cote who gave up 7 inches and 50 pounds

Has to be the homers giving this to Cote. A win does not constitute showing up and landing a punch. He took 3 or 4 jackhammers to the face to start this fight. After getting in a solid shot in return, this finished up as a humpfest. Fritz gets the win with the quick start and more scoring blows.

win fritz in a close fight. something you dont see from cote - hugging tight, it not his style at all. but it worked well for cote here to keep it a close fight. and it really evidences the respect around the league that fritz has earned.

Fritz wins this fight...

When i first watched this I thought it was a draw, but after watching it a few times I think its a slight edge Fritz. Fritz lands a few good punches at the very start, before they come in close, both fighters were cut in this fight as well.

OK.. no more Cootie bashing. This was a good fight and Cootie actually played hockey in this game. Fritz is a monster and Cootie stood in there with him. Both landed some good shots in the beginning and petered in the latter. This game was ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE SEEN THIS SEASON.

Fritz landed 5 or 6 solid face punches and Cootie landed 1 good one that landed right on the eye of Fritz. Both guys bloodied but this one goes to Fritz.

Can't give anyone an edge here, but I'll say this: Cote makes me proud to be a Flyers fan! He will show up against anyone and take his lumps as well as give a few back. He shows further proves this tonight by taking on GIANT Mitch Fritz, who has turned out to be a superb fighter so far.

Riley Cote handled himself like a champ against this freak of nature!
You have got to give it to him. He took a few but landed 2 huge lefts that popped the artery of Mr Fritz

Draw, plain and simple. Cote does a great job of keeping this fight close so he not be in the humungous wing span of Fritz. Cote ALWAYS gives a great show against anybody and this might have been of his best showings. Lots of guys would have been on their backs looking at the lights.

Good thing they threw a couple of punches early. Ice dancing is not allowed at hockey games.
