Ahhhh good for Hunter for sticking up for his pal. Bad shot by Mottau sticking his arm out like that. He should have got tuned. Regardless, not much of a fight ensued, so draw.

that didn't look like a stand up play from a stand up player to me. i vote this best forearm shiver of the year so far. the scrap was a draw with nothing goin on.

now if that was philly that did this there would be hundreds of posts claiming cheap shot. If Downey got 20 for his hit then this gets 15. btw, rangers suck :)

The hit aside, the fight was pretty even and uneventful. Win goes to Mottau simply for the take down. I sense a fine/suspension coming.

Obviously not an intentional injury-causing hit from Mottau. Nice takedown on the ensuing fight. Islanders were taken to task by the Devils last night.

dirty hit.. with all the suspensions w'eve seen this year, wouldnt surprise me if mottau got one for this one.. as for the fight draw

Mottau not known for being dirty ends up with one of the dirtiest hits of the year in my opinion, mainly because of the fact that he leaped into the hit.

Don't know if any punches actually landed before they fell to the ice.

What is most amazing is that Hunter picked up all the extra penalties.
Sure looked like Mottau was head hunting and his stick was really up.
