Draw. Too bad Thornton couldn't let loose there.

Thornton should have crushed him.....tiny dude.

Nichol would have done good but all of his punches landed on Joe's shoulder.

Wow. Joe "The disappearing playoff master" Thornton cross-checks a guy about half his size 10 times to goad the fight, then does nothing but whiff. Class act, that guy.

Neither landed much

This wasn't a fight, it was a comedy. Thornton holds Nichol at arms length and Nichol swings away like an angry little kid.

Draw.

Big Joe with too much weight, reach, and height over Nichol followed by a couple of soft hits, good enough for my vote. Win Thornton.

Funny that everyone thinks that MVP's like Thornton or Iginla are picking their spots ... the fact that they drop the gloves to protect themselves is nice to see in today's NHL.

Nichol tryed to attack first.
maybe one lands.
Thonrton takes control next, but fails landing anything significant.
Great takedown by Nichol.
A SOLID DRAW.

What is Nichol's height? 5 6 , 7 or so? I give him credit but he won't beat up someone like Joe Thornton. Scrappy little guy but just not big enough. Win Thornton.

Should of kept fighting with the sticks, it was much more entertaining. Draw.

Randy put it best with... "bahahahahahaha". Nichol saved his own life with the takedown.
