Think he popped Thornton at least once before he slipped, so I gotta give the edge to Godard who probably would have mopped him up eventually anyway.

Draw. Boston announcers are still tool bags.

Draw plain and simple, equal punches thrown and it was close with the last one Godard threw but I'm about 99% sure Thornton slipped on his own. THey will probably go again sometime soon, its early in the year and they play 3 more times.

Probably would have beed a good tilt had Thornton not slipped. But a pretty clear draw. I'm sure these guys will see each oher agian.

In tight draw. Both very aware of the others power hand. Neither got off/going. Had potential. Thornton slipped on a glove (i think) and they both went to the ice.

Promising match-up but never got going, draw

Yes it was BORRRING. But keep in mind a lot of times these guys just go through the motions just to try and light a fire under their team''''s collective a**. I bet either one or both of them had a messed up hand and looked like they just went through the motions.

I wish the fighters of today would develop rivalries and then we''''d see some classic bouts. One of the few left is Krys Barch and Brad May. Those two throw bombs whenever they meet and always show respect for each other win lose or draw at the end.

This had all the makings to be a good fight but again it appears that face off dot had other ideas. Face off dot gets the "W".

Behn Wilson- Godard would have mopped the ice with Thornton? I don't know about that. Thornton just held his own with the "champ", if not beating him. And do you remember his scrap with Cote last year? Open your eyes, this had the potential to be an evenly matched, high energy scrap.

Disappointing draw.
